I used the white eggshell on a job recently... lots of doors, skirtings and spindles in a large victorian semi detached house in hampstead whilst the customers were away...
All the woodwork is currently in a waterbased eggshell.. standard white and ground floor dulux diamond eggshell... it sticks very well and dries quickly and virtually odourless.. the durability and the way it dries off is unparalleled... all woodwork sanded, filled, sanded washed down etc.. spot primed prior...
Now my problem is with the coverage... over the last few days I have primed the woodwork bar the white on ground floor and in that time I have applied 3 and 4 coats in certain areas... I come in the following day and still see areas that are grinning...!!!?? (Am I too fussy) Synthetic brushes used too....very rarely I use oil based paints as am trying to get away from them completely...
Unbelievably with the poor coverage it still covers better compared to other brands.. which shows how much work companies still have to do for their white trim paints... but if its for durability, washability and brightness you can't go wrong.. however be prepared for alot of work and spending money for extra paint...

I have been looking for a quality water-based satin for woodwork over the last few years that met all my professional decorating requirements.This product has an unbelievable opacity and coverage. The quick drying attributes of the satin mean you can get two coats on in a day easily. The satin flows off your brush like an oil based satin with virtually no brush marks, make sure you use a good quality synthetic brush like a Blaze, Corona, Purdy etc. This Isolac Aqua Enamel Satin has a beautiful overall finish probably the best I have come across. You can apply two coats over any properly prepared solvent or acrylic based coating without using an adhesion primer which saves time, money and an additional coat. The adhesion of this satin is brilliant and it is a very tough finish, being a water-based finish instead of hybrid means it will stay white and not yellow over time.

I have been a professional decorator for 35 years and have mainly used oil based products but that has come to an end now with finding this product. I have used other ISOMAT products and they are of an equally high standard. Enough said... I have no problem with highly recommending the full ISOMAT range.

I like many have been slow to change from oil based products to water based. The few I have tried left me unimpressed. Then along came this stuff, it's a game changer. Easy to use, lovely to apply, it's a little thick so needs a drop of water. Overall finish is great. To sum up it's a quick drying, low oder tough paint, with a great sheen level. I won't be going back to oil based any time soon.
