Gloss Level Dull matt (Dead-matt according to DIN EN 13 300)
Storage Keep in a cool, but frost-free place.
Characteristics according to DIN EN 13 300:
Used this on a dark oxford blue wall to white wash the wall and was amazed when finished to find the wall was completed white and could hardly see any blue though the wall! Outstanding opacity and this was slightly thinned down with around 2 litres meaning you get about 14 it so litres of paint once thinned.
Seems on the high side for a contract paint but as always you get what you pay for !
I’ve used a few contact matts in my time but this is the best by far, no roller lines, no grinning, can be touched up also and superb opacity, I added 2 litres of water gave it a good mix and it doesn’t lose any of its opacity, great gear!
I was a little sceptical at first as there are much cheaper alternatives and lets be fair, a contract matt is a contract matt, nothing jazzy about them. I was intrigued by the statement that it can be thinned by up to 40% and still have great opacity. It certainly lived upto that statement, I now use this for all my ceilings and newly plastered areas, leaves a great base for further decoration. Sprays great too!
