Bradite One Can Satin/Eggshell White

I used this for a difficult job i had to decorate. a cottage that had painted brick and masonry, and fragile walls and ceilings that i couldnt key and all had been painted in an oil based paint previously a decade before. After some research i found this product that ticked all the required boxes i needed. Stain blocking (water had got in from a failed seal from the conservatory as well as some rust spots) a grip primer that takes to all surfaces without preparation and a finish coat in one. This product states it also can be used on metal, wood and knot bleeds amongst others so i decided id use it on the wooden conservatory as a primer and undercoat for rotted timber that had been replaced. The first coat is more like a primer coat and dried very quickly. Two coats were sufficient for a soild covering but would recommend spotting in any stains at least once first before applying the finish coats. On wood it did the job perfectly and flowed very well with both water based and oil based top coats.

To summarise, for what i used it for was perfect and did the job. No need to water it down a little just a good thorough whisk before use. To note is the price, particularly from paint shack this product is alot cheaper here then anywhere else i got account prices for it. And half the price of zinsser aqua bin 5 litres which as of today 27/3/2024 was double the cost. A genuine one can that does it all. Highly recommended.
